Accessing Team Management

All user management happens on the Team Management page in the Melt Code app.

Follow this path from Melt Code app to find ‘Team Management’

‘Settings’ (Leftest Side Navigation Panel) → ‘Team Management’ (2nd Navigation Panel from left)

Here you can:

  • Invite new team members

  • Manage existing users

  • Assign roles (Super Admin, Billing Admin, User Admin, Melt Code User)

  • Monitor user activity

  • Deactivate users to free up seats

Adding Users

Add new team members to your organization and assign the appropriate permissions.

Step 1: On the Team Management page, click + Invite Members

Step 2: Invite one or more team members at once by entering their email addresses. Just type and press enter to add the next.

Step 3: Select the appropriate role and send the invite. For more on roles and how they are defined, see here.

Next, invited users receive an invitation email and can access Melt Code after accepting. Admins can track pending and active users on the Team Management page.

Understanding User Status

On the Team Management dashboard, you can monitor the status of each user:

  • Invited: User has been sent an invitation but has not accepted yet

  • Active: User has accepted the invitation and completed onboarding

  • Inactive: User has been deactivated and can no longer access Melt Code

Quick Note
You can deactivate users to free up seats for new team members.

Managing Users

After inviting users, you can:

Change roles: Update user permissions at any time.

Monitor activity: Check which users are actively using Melt Code by referring to ‘Last Active’ log.

Deactivate users: Free up seats for new invites or reallocate access.

Bulk Invites

  • Bulk invites are useful when adding multiple users with the same role and seat allocation.

  • Ensure that the total seats you are assigning do not exceed your purchased plan.

  • Bulk invites help streamline onboarding for teams but must follow the seat restrictions in your subscription. This limit is currently enforced by the system automatically.

Troubleshooting

  • Invite not received: Ask users to check spam/junk folders.

  • Unable to remove or manage users: Ensure you’re logged in as a Super Admin or User Admin.

  • Seat limit reached: Deactivate users or upgrade your plan to add more seats.
